¹ßÇ¥ÀÚ¾à·Â :
Jeongho Jeon (JJ) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA. He is currently a director at the Standards and Mobility Innovation Laboratory, Samsung Research America, where he contributes to the next generation cellular communications research and standardizations. Prior to joining Samsung in 2018, he was with Intel Corporation, where he contributed to various advanced researches as well as 3GPP 4G LTE and 5G NR standardizations. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the Vice Chairman of Technology Working Group in the Next G Alliance, a 6G initiative by ATIS, and led the development of 6G candidate technologies. He was a recipient of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Fellowship from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Jeon is a Senior Member of IEEE.
°­¿¬¿ä¾à :
The Next G Alliance is an industry initiative organized by ATIS to advance North American mobile technology leadership in 6G and beyond over the next decade. The Next G Alliance will encompass the full lifecycle of research and development, manufacturing, standardization and market readiness. This presentation provides an overview of Next G Alliance and Research Priorities on 6G technologies.
